Be prepared to be flamed for this. AWOL is subject to jailing or a dishonarble discharge. If I were you, I would come back to your unit before they catch you and accept any punishment they give you.
Don't let the military catch you, turn yourself in. IT will go better for you that way.
Also your story sounds a little fishy the military takes good care of its soldier's health problems, and why would your pay stop, I have never heard this happening to any soldier/

This is without a doubt some of the stupidest crap that I have ever seen a troll post. There is absolutely no way that you spent ten years in ANY military service and could come across as stupid and ignorant as you did in this post. They stopped your pay so they had a cookout. What a jackass you are.
I try not to be flippant and dismissive in my answers, and in this case I mean every single, solitary word of my answer.

Why do I doubt your entire military story?
If you had been in for 10 years, you would know how to deal with the issue, instead of making up a lie about being prevented from a civilian medical facility.

Ha... Yeah right.
If you have medical problems, they are not going to tell you to suck it up. They will give you a profile to keep you from doing certain things... If its a bad enough problem, they will give you surgery to fix it.... If its still a problem, then they will hold a medical board and discharge you...
And about your pay.... If you dont get paid, you go straight to finance and get it taken care of.... Its up to you as a soldier to get these things fixed, not everyone you work with... You fill out paperwork and take it to finance...
If you were really in for 10 years, you would know this stuff... You would most likely be a Non-Commisioned officer if you enlisted, and you would know these kind of things.... If not, then you were most likely a piss poor soldier that wanted everyone else to take care of you.... And we dont want people like you in our military.
Pro Army... Suck it up!!!!!

Going awol was probably the absolute worst thing you could have done. Now you have very little options.
Probably move to Canada. They have free health care.

Assuming I believed your story, my advice would be to call your Congressman. Prepare to spend a lot of time on 'hold', they're busy trying to explain the Immigration Bill. Once you get him, he'll probably be happy to have something other than that to talk to someone about.

Contact keyword(s) Ehren Watada when it opens up you will see alot of people in the anti-war movement many in Canada who refused to back to Iraq or refuse to fight in Iraq or are just tired of the politics of war which you ahve no control over. Good luck hope I have helped. Try to get to Canada also if possible. There should be a 1-800 number to call also on LT Watadas web site

*sniff, Sniff* I smell bull. Hopefully, if you have been a deserter for a decade you will go to jail where you belong.
However, since I think you are full of crap here's your 30 seconds of attention.
