Whether you mean as a religion, or in of itself, there will always be Christians... and I don't mean the kind that are falling away and filling up the clubs, etc... I think the further you get away from the source or beginning the more watered down it becomes, whether its the Big Bang, Judism, Islam, or Christianity... the universe expands, some Jews accept Christ, Islam allowing women in positions of power, Protestants and Catholics... it gets watered down to where its comfortable for the masses, but these are not those that will continue to carry the Gospel into the years to come! If we were all put back to living in caves, the Good News would survive. More appropriately, will any of us survive this millenium?

With all round visible decline,it appears that Christianity is on the way out. However,if we leave aside the religious aspect aspect and try to go deeper in to the possibility of it's survival or other wise,we shall not be able to conclude either way so easily.A believer or a group of believers can not exist without a faith.A non faith can also said to be a kind of belief or faith. So,what is going to replace Christianity?Nothing that is visible right now.secondly,Christianity ha s a long history of persecutions and strong instincts of SURVIVAL. In short,Christianity shall survive many more millenniums and for that it has to modify itself and remain relevant to the times.Expect radical reforms and survival instincts to come in to play as the time passes.{ I am a non Christian but respect all religions].

Well the millenium just passed a few years ago, so I assume you mean the next one? The year 3000?

I doubt it, I think remnants will remain but overall I do not think Christianity will be around as the biggest religion anymore.

But then again Jesus will be coming for his followers "soon" as they say, so I suppose after that there will be no more Christianity. lol

I love the rapture, it is so vague and generalized to the point that it describes any given point in history. lol

sure it will, the most destructive religion and the loudest in attempt to persuade the so called "sinners" to convert will survive. Actually most religions will be here for some time. As long as the mass people are seeking something higher, there will always be a need for some type of religion.

Religion is on the decline, and Christianity has the biggest problem of all. When they came up with that trinity idea, it was accepted blindly way back in the early days. People then believed whatever they were told. Not so any more. If the church continues to insist on a three-in-one god, and can't explain it in a way that people can clearly understand, I believe the church is on its way out.
Explaining the trinity with eggs or shamrocks was okay years ago, but if one god is three people, explain it in terms of people, forget the eggs.

even after the "rapture"( the bible never spacifically uses that word) when all of Gods people are taken from this earth. to be with him...the "trubulation saints "( the people who come to faith afterwards) are mensioned. genuine christians will die rather than denounce thier faith. even though they may fall, but in seeing thier love others will then take up the cross.our numbers have always been truly few, because of the lack of sincerity of some who just pretend, but we will always be here...sorry.

Do I think Christianity will survive this millennium? No, neither Christianity nor any of the major religions will hold sway in 1000 years. Like it or not, science is us. The day will come when human critters will consider today's fundamentalists as we think of sideshow freaks and southern segregationists: antiques.

No. They are losing converts very fast. By the year 3000, Christianity will have seen its end.
