a co-worker has Bill collectors call and show up at work daily, yet she drives a 40k lexus , the best fashion money can buy. always showing off the latest everything. but will ask me almost everyday to lend her money.not 5 or 10 dollars but 2 and 3 hundred dollars at a time. I did once never, never saw it again yet she will still ask like as if she compleatly forgot she asked the day before or that she owes me still for the last loan.
when i say sorry, can't. she will get very defencive, and says things, like it's because i'm black or it's a white man thing, but today I said no its because you still have not paid me back from the first loan, and she said that it was not a loan that I gave her the money, and i said so if i lend you money today do you intend on paying it back, she then called me a cheap honky lol what do I do.

Well, looks like you're not going to get your money back, but this should stop you from saying Yes in the future. The next time she asks, quickly pull out a piece of paper from your desk, write on the letter head: "From the Desk of The Cheapest Honky" and draft up a re-payment note for the amount she asks for. If she is unwilling to sign it, don't hand over the money. Even if it's for one dollar do it, and maybe she will get the point. If she gets rude, then tell her she needs to start being responsible enough to manage her financial affairs and bring lunch/snack money her self instead of trying to sponge off her co-workers.

Your co-worker is a cheap-skate. Don't lend her any more money. Tell her.. "No. Sorry, I thought you're rich - with the Lexus and all the latest fashion - why do you keep asking money from me? I should be asking money from you. Besides, you haven't paid back the money I lent you."
And then give her a bill for all the money you lent her.
Just say NO.

Tell her to back off totally. And if she continues with the racial slurs report her to your boss -- she could lose her job for that.
And don't EVER loan money to co-workers again. There are banks and lending company for that. If someone can't get a loan at one of those places, it's because that person is a bad risk -- like your co-worker.

It might be a good time to escalate to your boss, or to HR (before she has the chance to file any sort of complaint about you). But stick to your guns and never never never loan money to a coworker!

Just tell her no. Let her say what she wants. Her priorities are clearly out of whack, but why should you pay because of her bad spending habits? If you keep giving this leech money, then it's because you're being weak.

Oooh, that's funny! Definitely don't give her anymore money. Noone just GIVES a coworker $300. Crazy lady. If she's really bothering you, just mention it to your boss. What she's doing to you is a form of harassment.

Take her to small claims court to get your money back. She won't ask you for any more loans after that.

Just keep saying "no."
Actually, you might want to let your supervisor know she is trying to borrow money from co-workers, and let them sort it out.
