im new to hdtv,why cant i manually set the resolution on my olevia 532h using a samsung hdmi player? help!?

also,everytime i press the resolution button on the remote of my samsung player,NO SIGNAL/NOT SUPPORTED shows up on the screen but the resolution somehow changes. anyone can help me? tnx in advance!

I would guess that some resolution settings on your samsung are not supported by your oleva. You would need to look at the manual for both units to see what resolutions are the same on both units and use one of those.
