I don't. Why bother? Though it's funny... If a guy sleeps over at my house, they put their boxers back on before going to sleep, while I remain as is.

Since you have seen this behavior in more than one girl, you should be able to devise that it is a societal issue.
In American culture, we are taught sex is okay for guys, but if a girl has sex, it's naughty. We are also taught to not be proud of our bodies. One glimpse of a rack of fashion magazines and we know we can never measure up... Even though we know, in the back of our mind, that picture has been air-brushe and, without makeup, the beautiful girls in the magazines are just average chicks like us.
We are brain-washed, from girlhood, to believe that any sign of extra skin, any bit of fat, any sight of cellulite, and we are suddenly worthless. Why do you think there are so many cases of eating disorders in this country, as opposed to of nations?
We have an epidemic in this country of girls feeling ugly and fat. And let me say, the fashion mags perpetuate this problem. Not only do they show gorgeous and super-skinny girls on the pages, but they also have advertisements for liposuction, breast augmentation. diet pills, diet drinks, low-fat and low-carb diets, not to mention work-out routines to shed those extra layers of fat! All the while they have quizzes and articles about how your man MAY be cheating, or how you can satisfy him so he WON'T cheat.
It's all ridiculous!
That's why I stopped reading them years ago!
But I still live with that little voice in my head that says, "You just aren't pretty enough, skinny enough, perfect enough..."
I don't know if that voice ever goes away.

It's not that were shy. It's that we have been brought up that you always be covered up around men. That is wearing a bra and nopthing to short and stuff like that. Some girls could just be shy.

becuase girls are more refined. We feel exposed. It has nothing to do with insecurity or anything. Guys are just so blunt and dont care... scratch their balls in public, burp out loud .. stuff liek that.... this goes along the same lines. girls are just more ... elligent (sp?). i suppose.
