Food, drugs, and drinks can play a huge part in a human's natural body odor. Try adjusting your diet. Combinations of foods can make your body odor smell different. Drugs can too. I know you go to the gym, but are you a cigarette smoker? Nicotine could play a part.

Oddly enough, I don't eat onions, but my own BO smells like onions occasionally. I hate onions. lol

a strong ammonia smell to the sweat would indicate that you are burning ketones too rapidly. Suggest that you cut back on any protien supplements you may be using, and drink a whole lot more water, say at least 2 liters a day. I insure my consumption of water by filling a 2liter pop bottle with water, and I empty it by the end of my day.
