I want backgrounds like the ones in these pictures (I think they're textures):

Not sure where to get these backgrounds because I make all of my own. Just take some pictures of the night sky, or clouds, or pieces of rock, etc.
To use them just create a layer and drag the background onto it. Maker sure that the background layer is below the image layer in the layers pallet.

Yes, those are not textures. You can find images like it by using search engines. Try any of these phrases: sky, cloud, space; you can also search specifically for wallpaper. Find what you like, the color doesn't matter because you can modify it in PS.
Open the sky (or else) and your photo (image that you want to give this background) side by side in PS. Make sure your photo is the active window (click on its window to make sure) and drag the image layer to the sky image window.
