When you just lost someone dont you feel like your going to lose everything you got, if not you already have lost everything? and you think of all the things that hurt u in ur life and u start crying? I do. My dad is in jail, my mom i just met, my sister just had a baby at 14, my other sister ran away and i never got to meet her, my brother died at birth, my grandma died when i was 3 and i had to watch her die, my aunt took everything i had, my house, grandma's jewlry left for me, and my dad's stuff. My other aunt died recently, my uncle has lung cancer, when i was 7 i had to go to a foster home b/c my dad was doing drugs and he abused me. and when i talk to him he says i cant do anything right. I lost a lot of my best friends because my aunt sent me away. she used to lock me in my room. She said i had a perfect life and i have nothing to cry about... is that true?
p.s. this has to do with my health because i feel like my heart is broken

Okay, you've listed all of the 'bad things' that have happened TO you, but I want you to sit down and make two more lists ... one of all of the 'good things' that have happened to you, and the other turning all of those 'bad things' into something that is 'good' about you. It may take time and energy, but if you do this 'listing' for an hour every week, you'll soon start to think more about the 'good things' in your life, and even find 'good stuff' in the bad things ...
You're 'depressed' and you MAY have 'clinical depression' ... but I think that if you can do this 'listing' and can try just 'thinking good thoughts' ALL THE TIME (and if you catch yourself having 'bad thoughts' you'll have to CHANGE THEM to good thoughts in your head) for six months, I think that you'll be much HAPPIER and that you'll see that to every 'bad' there is a 'good' that you maybe can't see until you 'really look' ... maybe your 'heart is broken' but those 'good thoughts' are the 'super-glue' you need to put it back together and carry on ... and a 'good life' is the BEST REVENGE for the 'bad stuff' that has happened to you. If necessary, get yourself a pet, so you can 'take proper care' of something 'weaker' than you are ... that will help you to feel better about yourself, too ... YOU ARE A GOOD PERSON, and that 'bad stuff' is one of the reasons you are as good as you are ... and if you want to cry, go ahead. Your aunt may have been wrong to tell you that you 'have nothing to cry about' but she's right ... because you CAN HAVE A PERFECT LIFE, but it's up to YOU to 'change it' so that the life you have is better ... and NO ONE can tell you 'you can't do this' ... it's ALL IN YOUR MIND.

Well, U did go through alot and I'm sorry u had to go thru all of that, but u know what..................... those things just have to make u stronger and give u more will power to move on. U must prove them and most of all PROVE TO URSELF that u can be better than what they say. What I do, even though sometimes its hard, I think that "someone out there has it worse than me, so I must value everything I have NOW and treasure it till u can't any longer". Depression can affect your health in a lot of ways. U may lose ur appetite or just want to sleep all the time. Honey, GET UP AND MOVE!!! it will make u feel at least a little better. Also, talking ALWAYS helps. Get it off ur chest and move on. If u every need to talk holla clubnchix@yahoo.com. Good luck!!!

You've had a tough time! That doesn't mean that things won't get better. Don't ponder on all the bad stuff so much. Sure, it hurts and it's unfair. But there's always someone worse off than yourself. Try and focus on the positive things that have happened to you. You had best friends and you can get more. It just takes time. Your friends had to see something special in you to become your friend in the first place. I'm sure you've got many good qualities, regardless of what you dad told you. Broken hearts heal over time. Don't give up.

I understand that you feel like your heart is broken. You have every reason to feel that way. You really need to think about finding a professional to speak to. You have been through some really serious stuff that you could get through with some therapy.

there is no doubt you have had a rough time in the past. But, until you let go of that past and stop dwelling on it, you won't be able to move ahead and improve your life. There is a whole world out there waiting for you and you need to stop letting your past drag you down.
Get yourself some counselling, a counsellor can help you see the potential for the future and help you to overcome your past. It is work, but it is work you do for yourself and it is worth it.
