The least expensive would be a good choice.

The cheapest way I have found to fly to the islands is to check with Expedia and find the lowest fare and then go directly to the website of the airline with the lowest Expedia price. Cheapest days of the week to travel are Mon. Tue. and Wed. usually, but take some time and check every day you can travel. Often times it is cheaper to book a flight to Honolulu and then purchase a ticket with Hawaiian Airlines or Aloha Airlines, their fares are $39 one way and sometimes only $19 one way. Do a little homework and you can save yourself a lot of money to do other things while there.

I personally like ATA the best. Last trip, they handed out scented hot towels after our meal. The attendants were just that... attentive. I was floored!

Flew Hawaiian a few years ago, and was stuck at the airport for 14 hours waiting for them to let us get on the plane. They had done the same thing to the travellers the day before as well... we had them on our flight STILL trying to get out.

Wherver airline has a non-stop is probable the best.

From Newark: Continental
Atlanta: Delta
Dallas: American
Denver: United
SLC: Delta
Phoenix: US Air

You can search on the internet travel web sites (e.g. Travelocity) and see what options you have from the airport closest you.

Good Luck.

United, from the mainland or AA. They have the most nonstop flights from the most cities. Aloha is good for interisland flying.
