Not sure why he would want to. I guess if Knaus becomes Jr.s crew chief (rumor) he might go sometime later in his career. If he ever feels like he has maximized his potential there it's never out of the question that he could change teams. With the amount of success that he has had at Hendrick I don't see him doing it anytime soon. I think he's there to stay for a long time!

Not gonna happen ever, Gordon ended up signing a lifelong contract with Hendrick. I wouldn't doubt that Jimmy might to the same thing in a couple years. His worth and popularity has continually grown. He's worth a ton of money right now and probably considered to be a top 3 driver in cup and is also considered a top driver in the world (as much as I hate to admit it).

I don't see why Jimmie would want to leave the only team he's raced for. He's had great success with Hendrick so far. I just can't imagine him leaving them anytime soon.

Not a chance
His car is already co-owned by the Future Owner of "Hendrick".... why leave a team that has had multiple cup winners and is seemingly dominating at the present time !!

I believe he will have a long contract with HMS. I dont see him leaving , besides Jeff will be hanging it up in a few years , with the new baby , he has made his money and I think will get out. Jimmie will become number one by himself instead of sharing with Jeff. And no Chad isnt going to be Jrs crewchief, thats a bad rumor.

Probably not, they're too good at cheating at Hendricks which helps him win.

Not if he wants to keep driving the 48. And if he aint driving the 48, he aint driving the second best car in NASCAR.
