growing up, my mother used to make the BEST poundcake in the world and it always stayed good and moist. It is all I ever wanted from her for my birthday from age 18 till she died in 1995. My present wife (the love of m life) always heard me talking about moms poundcake, and told a friend of mine in another state in 2003. My friend told her that my mother gave her the recipe 3 months before she died and my wife surprised me that year on my birthday with a poundcake EXACTLY like my mothers!! I would eat a little bit and cry a little bit. It brought back great memories. On July 2, we will celebrate 6 years of marriage and I am 1 LUCKY MAN to have a woman that brought a little bit of my mothers memory back.

"Better than Sex" Chocolate Cake is sooooooooo yummy!!
Why?...because
#1 it's chocolate!
and
#2 ...well...read the title!! =)
Here's the recipe so you can be the judge:
1 package devil's food cake mix + ingredients as
directed on box
½ (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (6 oz) jar caramel ice cream topping
1 (8 oz) package chocolate toffee bits
1 (8 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed.
Bake cake according to directions for 9x13 inch pan. Cool for 5 minutes. Make holes in top of cake with end of wooden spoon, making sure not to go through to the bottom.
In a sauce pan over low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk and caramel topping, stirring until smooth and blended. Slowly pour the warm topping mixture over the top of the warm cake, letting it sink into the holes; sprinkle ¾ of chocolate toffee bits across the entire cake while still warm.
Let cake cool completely; then top with whipped topping. Decorate top of cake with remaining chocolate toffee bits. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour and serve right from the pan.

Rhubarb pie if you keep the dang strawberries OUT! I have loved rhubarb pie since I was about 5 years old. that was nearly 64 yrs ago! Then they started with the strawberry thing and that ruined it as far as I am concerned.
Next to that is a good peach or black berry or raspberry Cobbler!
There is no better eatin'!

My favorite is angel food cake with strawberries and a classic cheesecake!!!!
For angel food cake, all you have to do is buy the angel food cake already make and pull it apart in chunks.
You then put on the top sliced fresh strawberries and tons of whip cream!!! Yumm!!!
And for cheesecake, I usually use Kraft Food's recipe:

Hope I got you hungry!!!! :)

Snickers pie, because it has peanuts and caramel in it......
I use to work in a restaurant that served this pie and someone would always "accidentally" mess up a piece of the pie so we could share a free piece. (They didn't like the employees to eat that particular pie because we sold out of it so fast)
It is delicious!!!!!!!

Hm. It's a tie between strawberry shortcake and cheesecake. They're both so light yet full of flavor!

It sounds strange, but this old restaurant in Napa Valley (Piattis) served canteloupe sorbet balls in a champagne flute and covered them in champagne and garnished with mint. It was to die for!
