they cannot please everyone so they are doing what they can to ease the pressure on their backs. truthfully, I beliveve smoking should be banned in public, it is a non smokers choice not to inhale ciggerette toxins. I also believe you shouldn't smoke around your children for their sake. Smoking serves no purpose in anyones lives. they won't ban fatty foods but they should try to make foods that are more healthy and alcohol keeps the world together, I don't think we will ever have to worry about that being banned but I am for cars with breathalizers. It's just common courtesy.

They are taking all of americans rights, this is not exactly the freedom...we used to have.
It wont ever stop, someone somewhere will always come up with something else that they say is bad and then a law will be passed to prevent us from doing it. Never will it end...
They have reulated fatty food, in schools ...there are no more vending machines and only healthy food. They can regulate anything they want.

It is getting crazy in the US. They're trying to ban smoking in some cities *everywhere* except your own vehicle. Seriously. Even if you own your own home. Not even on a public sidewalk.
However, I think alcohol will be next. It'll be like Prohibition all over again.

If the previous Scottish Executive had its way it would have banned buckfast, as it is favoured by hoodies. What they fail to realis is that if they can't get buckfast they'll just drink something else instead.
Also, I've heard rumour that they want to copy the American drink laws- the min age would be 21.

But fatty foods and alcohol are only affecting the person who consumes it, smoking is affecting smokers and non-smokers alike.

Hopefully they'll make Cockblocking punishable by death - ie when you are chatting to a girl in a club, then one of her fat mates comes along and tries to take her away from you!

It would be really good if they could ban McDonalds, KFC etc. then we wouldn't have so many fat children. Also a beer ban would prevent beer bellies wouldn't it?
