This is a sincere question, and is in no means asked to belittle or descredit one's opinions. May I ask for the same respect in return? Thanks to all in advance!

For the record, I was born and raised in a Christian home. I have never strayed from my beliefs eventhough I was not always an active member. Now, I am a member of my church, and my desire is to please God. That's my story.

No. I was raised at the time when we had Scripture in School every morning, went to Sunday School and Church every Sunday and was involved in a Christian youth group. I am now an Agnostic

Yes, I have always been atheist. I was raised by an atheist father, and my mother is agnostic. I was raised without any religion, but to be open minded, and to learn about as much as possible in life.

I was raised in an atheistic family. Spend a few years looking for God, didn't find him, not sure if that makes me a born again atheist.

I was raised in a Christian family. Both of my parents attend church regularly to this day.

Even though they attended church every week, they left it up to my sister and I to decide what we believed in and whether or not we wanted to attend church with them. My sister is a Christian and I'm atheist.

My father is also an atheist and my mother was raised southern baptist. But my brother and I were never raised with any religion. My parents wanted us to choose for ourselves.

i grew up in a christian home with christian parents and grandparents. one side baptist and the other side catholic. it took me about a year of reading and reflecting, i went through a sort of back and forth mentality, wavering between rejecting and accepting the bible, and finally i let it go. i've got to tell you i'm much happier. i've found my own truth.
