Does anyone know when the world is going to end?

im just wondering,,cause alot of people say that it is going to end December 21,2012.

the world as we percieve it will certainly come to an end,it could happen in a second or a billion years ,but if you think about it all that happens is transformation we will just be gas but the elements will survive,the dinoasoars might be a good example or you could ask some of the endangered species of our world. think of all life forms on our world as a full glass of water when something is displaced it is taken over by something else eg as the land animals and grasses are pushed back it is replaced by bricks factories and humans then when the human race reaches breaking point which is not far off,and then after the destruction of the human species at its own hands,life will begin again depending on how much of the destruction is permanant.nature will win in the end.personally i see the human race as a plague of rats and believe we have gone too far the systems we use like democracy and socialism and the rest are definately destructive,we need to go back to basics if we are to survive.
i mean return to nature and compete on level terms with the rest of the planet as it should be.no guns bombs and the like.
i dont know who you are or what age but you might be able to change the system i wouldnt know where to start.it would be interesting whether their are like minded people out there,and wether they have some sensible ideas.

actually.. its " world without end" ... the world does not end..but the age or the dispensation changes... So far we have had a few dispensations or ages...

Eternity past
Before the Law
Dispensation of the Law
We are currently in the dispensation of Grace or the Age of the Church
The next one will be when the Lord Jesus returns to turn the age to the Age of the Kingdom... 1000 Millenium reign of Christ on the earth....
and after that its eternity. future...

So if you are a christian its not a matter of " knowing " when the Lord will come back or when the age will turn... but of preparing yourself and redeeming the time to be transformed by the Holy Spirit so you can be part of the Bride of CHrist for when He returns.... He is coming back as our Bridegroom and Lord...So today.. during the dispensation of Grace and of the CHurch... the time for being built up with other believers and conformed to the Image of Christ is NOW... druing your lifetime...

may we all be as the wise virgins and buy the extra oil ( transformation of our souls) while we are alive and redeem the time because the days are evil.....hopefullly we will hail His coming and not sleep...

Yes!!! Jesus told Us ALL About IT!!! Christ said in Mark 13:32 "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." The date U list is attributed to the Ancient Aztec Calender which just stops there! Funny thing about that! The Catholic church came here to Arizona & built what we here call "The Pope Scope" (Mt. Graham Observatory) to do "Deep Space Reconnaissance" in an effort to see Christs "Second Coming"!!! I know this from my Personal Involvement with the "Vats" Chief Jesuit Engineer Edmund Benedetti, SJ whom I met from helping him contact the Vatican via my Ham Radio Station. He was heading up the Project here and I had him over to my house to use my Ham Equipment. His call is HV2VO and he is the Head of the Vatican Observatory. Only God knows. It says in the bible that no one will know the exact day or hour the world will end. All those that are saying it will end on those days are just people that are just guessing. No one knows for sure. But it could happen any day now, that's why you must be prepared.

Go look at a history book and see how many times in the last 2000 years people gave exact dates. Then tell me if it is in 2012. There is this guy down by tropicana and eastern, who stands on the corner in Las Vegas who says it will be on Aug 3 2007. talk to him.

that's when the Mayan calendar ends, that's all. It doesn't mean the end of the world. Just means the Mayan calendar starts over.

And it also states in the Bible that only God can know the date that the world is going to "end"

I should think planet earth will be destroyed when our star (the Sun) explodes ,or implodes
Why would it end in 2012 ,just because the Mayans stopped doing calanders after this time .How would thay know when it all comes crashing down around our ears ?
