There are affortable treatments out there, I have tried several creams and nothing worked. I recently had laser treatment done for sun spots on my face and it was actually more affortable then I expected. I had two spot treatments that cost 75.00 and my spots are gone!

Go to your doctors and ask him/her to prescribe Tretinoin (Retin A) this is used for hyper pigmentation (the brown spots). It can take a few months to work though, so if you get it don't give in too soon. Only use it at night and in the day use a high factor sunscreen.

Hugely unlikely on the NHS - elective cosmetic surgery is only ever considered if the doctor feels the patient's mental health is severely at risk.

Not unless you can persuade them that you are depressed about the marks and they are getting you down. Normally it has to be a bad disfigurement for the nhs to consider it.

possible, but given the current financial crises of most nhs areas and the fact they can't afford some cancer drugs, incredibly unlikely

but then again someone got breast enhancement surgery as she convinced them it was depressing her enough to call into question her mental health... so depends how depressed it makes you
