Some people say that they'd be willing to die for another human being. I've added a new twist:
Would you be willing to go to Hell, if it would allow someone else to go to Heaven?

I believe everyone does something simply because they acquire a reward by doing that something.
In the case of being willing to die for another human being, a reward is attainable. People think it's their one-way ticket to Heaven. And since everyone dies anyway, why not be remembered for something heroic?
However, in the case of being willing to go to Hell in order to allow someone to go to Heaven, there is no true reward for the person going to Hell. They are going to spend eternity in constant fear and agony. I don't think anyone would do this.

That situation was in the movie Constantine. However, sacraficing yourself for somebody else is an instant ticket to heaven. So really, you could never do that. Constantine told the devil to take him instead. In return, God told the devil that he did just made the ultimate sacrafice and that he was in. The devil was pretty pissed about that.

I don't know...I don't think so. Everyone is responsible for their own actions, so why should I suffer for what they have done?
