Life. All the same things you would if nothing had happened to him.

What friends are up. What you are up to.

TO ERUDITE just to inform you that just because an election is going on does not mean that we shall stop what WE are doing in iraq and everywhere else. i am not saying that i agree with what bush and his crew has decided to do but it is my job to protect this country any way needed and for you to say that the war will be over in aug of 2008 is just a myth and i think you are very disrespectfull for opening your mouth when really you don't know for sure. so unless you are god please don't give everyone that has the time to read these answers false hopes. we all hope that the war will be over soon. but i will stand here and do what must be done no matter how long it takes

Like others said talk normal talk about happy things. Give him affection and love. Dont bring up the war or ask him to talk about what happened or how he feels about the war. I cant stand when people ask my husband questions like that. Its the last thing he wants to talk about.
Good luck hun and my reguards to him

Tell him to write President Bush and say "Thank You". Then, when he observes a decal on a vehicle, have him say "Thank you for the support". Tell him to enjoy the Veterans Hospital. ( Coffee is great there) However, he will get poor service due to Bush cutting funds for the V.A. The most important thing to say to him is "The Republicans are getting ready to cut and run in Iraq". The war is almost over. ( War will be over by Aug of 2008.

you should talk about anything you would normally talk about. He is still alive!

erudite: this question has to do with human relations. Not your political agendas. you should delete your answer. This is why we don't like anti-war activists. They don't really care about humans at all. They just want something to complain about!!!!!!!!

You need to talk to him just like you normally would. You want to make him feel as loved as he was when he left and you don't want to upset him. Enjoy his company and talk to him about things you normally would.
