Hey, if a girl doesn't want to have sex regularly, why can't a guy? Yes it's abnormal compared to the stereotype of men and sex, but it's not unheard of. Perhaps there are other reasons that are affecting his sexual libido, and if it really bothers your friend, perhaps they should seek counselling or some other form of "help".

I would say yes work can do that, especially if its physical work, usually outside work is very strenuous and physical and takes alot out of you especially when its hot and humid outside. And if he doesn't know she wants it, then she should do a little initiating on her own, I am sure he won't mind. It's not always about the man making the moves, I don't have a problem letting hubby know that I want to make love to him, even if he was tired, its amazing how much strength he gets lol

Well, if infidelity is not a concern, perhaps he can be impotent and is too embarrassed to mention it?
Perhaps a male will answer your question and state that exhaustion from work can be a factor, but in my case, my husband works long hard days at work (manual labor) and is never too tired.
I wouldn't totally rule out impotence as the contributing factor to this scenario.

Oh, there are so many things wrong with this, on so many different levels...
.A. He controls her by withholding sex (usually a woman's game, but not exclusively).
B. He is a closet porn addict and stays satisfied with solo flights.
C. He is not interested in grown women (which leaves adolescents and children as his preferences)
D. He is bisexual, and has a partner elsewhere
E. He is heterosexual and has a partner elsewhere
F. He has severe sexual hangups and doesn't like to get it on with someone he respects
Whatever the reasons, she should GET OUT NOW. Eventually, she will lose confidence and self esteem in her attractiveness, her sexiness, and her identity as a woman. No amount of work makes a guy disinterested in sex to that extent.
If he will go to counseling with her, then I doff my hat to him. But I will bet, he doesn't think there is anything wrong. I do not agree with "he has a low libido." Horse hockey.

Yes, he is probably stressed out, and her not working just makes if harder. I'm telling you. Sometimes guys just need time to relax. Don't jump to the cheating acusasions just yet. He just needs time for himself.

Work can definitely do that, I think on his next vacation his girlfriend should take him to a spa and loosen him up, then he'll definitely want to have sex when he sees how much she cares.

Because sex isn't everything. If thats what your relationship is based on that's very sad. You should be waiting 'til marriage anyways. Thats when this isn't an issue.
