Luke:12,4-7
I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him. Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
Give me your thoughts on this!=)

It means you had better get it thru your thick head that nothing you do is missed by God; it is all being recorded for the judgement. It means you need not be ruled by fear in this life; even if someone kills your body, they have no power to destroy you. Only He who owns your soul has the power to
destroy it. This is a perfect verse for those who believe that
Christians are ruled by fear: it is just the exact opposite:
we have absolutely nothing to fear, since we are the Children of God, and are protected by Him. He has no harm intended for his Children, but plenty of wrath is waiting for those who
will choose to offend his Children or do them harm.
He intends to pour that wrath out from a large-mouthed cup,
unmixed with anything mediating - full-strength wrath, dumped right onto them. Those who go against the Children of the most high God, and those who go against God himself have plenty to fear. These will be the ones who will be at
the feet of Christ with lots and lots of "boo hoo's" - those who are loudest in their insults and ridicules will be the loudest of the "boo hoo's". Their arrogance and frowardness will get them exactly what they deserve: no more, no less.

If an Almighty God is taking care of sparrows, why then should we worry. We are just visiting this earth, heaven is our real home.
Nodality:
* And by the way, when Jesus was alive, sparrows might have cost that much. Between 30 A.C and now we've had some inflation if haven't noticed it yet.

Fear the one who can cause eternal seperation from God.
Of all the billions of people who have, or will, inhabit the earth, He knows the number of hairs on your head. He knows your name. He calls you friend. His thoughts of you are as the sands of the ocean. He stands at the door and knocks and desires to come in. He is patiently waiting for all who will to come to repentance.
Amen.

So, the fundamentalists who believe every word of the bible is true reckon you can get 5 sparrows for 2p? The smallest unit of cuurency in my country is the 5 cent piece. I'm waiting with bated breath to see the rationalism for that from the christians. ;)

Terrible dependancy, almost unattainable to stop as soon as you have began. BQ: It's type of a puppy peeve. I'm almost always particularly happy with myself while I manipulate to hold a suggestion from falling out of my mouth, and it makes me suppose they do not recognize my heroic restraint in any respect!

Simply that our allegience should be to God even to the point of death, rather than submitting ourselves
to the fear of man....further,that God is in control, and is our provider and has not left nor forsaken us.
