We are having a rockabilly themed wedding. My fiance and I both have tattoos and we want these to be a part of the theme as well. I am trying to find creative guest gifts that fit into this theme. I also would love some suggestions for decorations. The venue is outside on a beautiful historic farm.

Can you have temporary tattoos made with your names and wedding date? I think that'd be awesome! They are also not very expensive. Here's a place that makes them:

A henna or temporary tattoo artist would be great too. You'd have to check your local phone book for listing of people in your area who do that.

What about a caricature artist to draw everyone's characature with a rockabilly theme and the wedding date and your names in the bottom corner or something? That would be creative and fun and they'd have a keepsake!

What about mix CDs? You could have rockabilly mix CDs with songs by Carl Perkins, Bill Haley, Elvis, Johnny Cash, etc. Those would be good momentos and you could make custom CD inserts with a picture of you guys or your wedding info or something like that.

Just some ideas, good luck and have fun!!!

Get stationary journals with a logo printed on the front. The logo being a copy of your tattoo. A print shop can have it done for you. Decorate pewter buckets printed with the tattoos on the outside and fill with country flowers for table accents. Decorate with raffia bows and have your tattoos done in wrought iron work for a real show stealer! Good Luck!

Neat, I like your way of thinking!

As for expounding on the record idea, there are actually cds that you can buy that look like old records. I think that would be a neat spin on the idea.

Also, how about things along a 50's line? You could give them something in the shape of an old fin back car to hang off their mirror or something sort of kitschy such as that.

Are there going to be a lot of older (as in over 21) people there? You could assemble a drinks manuel telling people how to make martinis, cocktails, etc. with rock-a-billy names or do the same with nonalcoholic mixes.

Good luck and cool wedding:D

what type of decor are you looking for? I have done western, country, harley davidson, and lot more in themes for the florals and candles. There is a whole lot to think about and centerpieces as well as your florals can be made into any design.

What about getting a face painter in for the day? And yeah, he personalized temp tattoo's rock! How about guitar picks too? http://www.favorideas.com/shopping/prod/1016019.htm or maybe some skull or pirate kinda stuff?
Have fun!
