God does not interfere nor intervene with the events that are happening all over the world, including the many crimes and atrocities that man is committing. All in good time. Unlike in the past, in the times of Noah and Moses when God directly intefered with humankind. There was no intermediary then, between Him and the people. But after Jesus Christ's death, God gave His only begotten Son all the power to act as His intermediary. And by the same token, Christ earned his rightful place in heaven and battled against Satan and his minions whereby Satan was defeated. They were thrown out from heaven and fell down to earth. Now, Satan and his co-horts are here to tempt man, to create confusion, to corrupt our physical and spiritual beings - the more he brings to his side, the better to show God that man is naturally evil. Now then, Satan and the other fallen angels know that they have a very short time to do their evil deeds so that pushes them to work harder at tempting and corrupting more humans. God sees all these things and hears all the laments and sufferings of His people and knows that it is not for long when Satan and his minions will be thrown into an eternal pit of darkness.
Now, the question is why does God allow all these things to happen, for child abuse to happen? So that by the very things happening that is wicked, we will know of His love and power and call on Him for his help, to shorten the days of our suffering. Many do not know His name, many do not believe in Him. Many ridicule and blaspheme Him. God does not interfere to give us time to reflect on our sins and change our ways.

Believing in God as I do, and being molested as a child, I had the same question inside me screaming and angry. God did not stop it because of free will. He did however give me what I needed to get through it. He sent child-like angels to play with me and help me through. I thought the were kids like me,only with wings. There were others in my life that helped me. He also pulled the part of me that is self out of my body while it was happening. Unfortunately I am now a multiple personality. I still know that God did what he could, and still does when possible. I am very psychic, and unconditionally loving to all I meet. I am not saying I am perfect. I have ranted and raved and threw fits aimed at God. I am finding peace with it now. I can have full conversations with God. I can "hear" him. I do not need blind faith, I know he is there. I've got a lot of stories of my own if you would like as this is just the tip. But I've rambled long enough for now. Email me if you like. If not Blessed Be, and may Peace be upon you.

We are not God. But as Christians, the Holy Spirit lives in us. A person who does not accept the salvation of God that is accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour is not a Christian. And even if he is a Christian, he still can sin. But each he sins, each time he must repent. This does not excuse the paedophile. A paedophile is a very sick person. It is abnormal to find little children as their source of sexual gratification. Normal sexual adults only find pleasure in another adult of the opposite sex. The person before he becomes a paedophile can choose whether or not he wants to take this path of destruction.
If we expect God to control would be paedophiles, then God would have to control us too. We are not without wrongs. If we stand in the holy light of God, sin is sin no matter how small or white it is.

First, I am not a Christian nor do I fall under the catagory of those who 'follow the book'. But I can still answer this question on experience and knowledge of different faith paths. One of the basic tenants of most religions is the one of free will. Therefore, we all are given the ability to choose our actions. That would include anything henious - speaking specifically of the criminal - or how we react to it - speaking of the victim.
If we have free will taken away from us, we would be living on instinct and nothing more than basic animals with no exercise of morals or values. So when the choices are made, we have take the good with the bad - that being negiotating our existence with those we consider evil as their free will takes them there.

God is not literally present everywhere. He can see all from his lofty position (probably because He is all powerful), but He isn't actually in every nook and cranny of the universe.
Why He allows evil is a whole different issue, and even though free will is part of the answer, it's not the whole thing.
It has to do with the issue of Universal Sovereignty. Satan (who desires to be worshipped like God) challenged that God doens't have the right to set rules for us to live by. By disobeying God's command, Adam and Eve essentially joined sides with Satan and insinuated that they'd be better off deciding right and wrong for themselves.
By allowing things to run their course naturally, devoid of divine intervention, God is proving that humans cannot rule themselves and that Satan is a terrible ruler as well. If he were to always step in and save a child from being molested or a drunk driver from crashing, would it not seem that things were good as is???

As human beings, we have a duty to protect those children. Parents, grandparents, uncles, aunties, neighbors...like the old days, the community would look out for the children. In modern times, the CPS has taken on that role, and made it difficult for normal people to have meaningful relationships with children--such as role models, mentors, teachers, and people in authority as well as responsible adults. So the sick people who ruin society for everyone else will be held accountable for the things they do to harm the young people and other innocent people. Judgment day will come--and vengeance belongs to God.
My friend was charged with a crime dealing with a teenager. Even though the teenager had no proof, and her story changed several times, the law accepted each change to the story as fact, and added charges. My friend took and passed a polygraph test, yet it is not accepted in court. The law is on overkill to protect children. Thanks to the pedophiles that have ruined society for everyone else, my friend will have to be a registered sex offender for the rest of his life. He was an excellent educator...highly educated, etc. Now nobody will hire him.

First, I don't see God as a 'He,' but as the Source of life. 'He' is a personification of the Divine into something that we can relate to, something 'human.' We have an element of the Divine Source in us, but not everything we do is done with sacred virtues intact. We make choices all day that may not be criminal acts, but acts that we know are not in our best interest or in the best interest of others. Our job here is to learn to make Divinely Inspired choices.
We were not born into a purely pleasant garden where everything is a delight. We were born into the lands of Earth, where we must learn to make our way through challenges and travail. It is HOW we make our choices, whether uninspired or inspired, loving or violent that matters. I believe that's why we are here. It's the journey that matters, how we deal with this journey, whether or not we can meet the challenges and rise above them, finding a way to really know the love of the Divine Source as a personal experience.
Yes there is injustice, cruelty and violence in this world. But we don't have to create it, or react in revenge. In everything we do resides the opportunity to rise above and love. Let the justice system take care of the criminals. The fact that the Divine does not always intervene to stop acts of injustice, is not something we will fully comprehend until we are on the other side.
In a way we are living in a great big classroom. I am truly sorry if violence to a child occurred directly to you or to someone you love. I extend my heartfelt caring to anyone who has experienced that kind of violence. It is a terrible thing. But we need to remake ourselves in the face of that, forgive, rediscover the good things in life and do what we can to make things better for others.
For me, this is the message and the teachings of the Jesus that Mary Magdalene loved so much.

Omnipresent means he sees all. When Adam and Eve were hiding from God in the Garden of Eden and he ask were they were; it was not because he didn't know; it was because he wanted them to confess were they were and what they had done.
When you are saved, God asks you the same question:
Where are you in your present relationship with him?
What have you done, that you feel you have to try and hide from me? (Sinned)
Evil people do evil things. Jesus Christ warns us in the Bible that anyone that harms a child will receive the full wrath of God, if not in this life, surely in the next.
Omnipresent simply put means "All Seeing" not "All Dwelling". We are created in his image, but not in his Godliness.

we all get what we deserve. We are working out and if god prevents us from carrying our cross then whats the point we would never get any better. Why should god do everything for us when he gives what we need to help ourselves. People rape children and we will all be punished for it. Dont forget the veil of forgetfulness we were all once in heaven and we chose to come here knowing that it wasn't going to be paradise. So why complain now you should have stayed in heaven. Free will brought us here. And to hell with Christianity in Jesus name.

Think of it this way: what if we were actually one Self, created by what the world calls, "God"; what if we were created as part of God, because God is all that exists...but as such, we have freedom to dream, to find ourselves in our own way, because God cannot imprison us...what if we remain as created: perfect, holy, innocent, and all the horrors we see are really being formed by us? What if these were just images, having no reality, as we simply are as God created us? What if we never left our perfect home, but only dreamed that we did? What if...
"Everywhere present" means God is pure energy, in and through all there is...the sum of all consciousness, and more than the sum; it means God created us as one with Itself, and this physicality that we demand to be real, is but a dream.
