Does the bottle of pills have to be sealed? If it's open, will they ask you empty it? Can you carry vitamins in your carry-on bag?

Does the bottle of pills have to be sealed?
we take vitamin pills when we travel and what i do is empty them into a clear plastic bag because i dont think the x-ray machine can see clearly through the bottles

If it's open, will they ask you empty it?
if you keep it in the bottle they might..but if you put it in a clear plastic bag and make sure you CLEARLY LABEL what it is then they shouldn't because thats what we do

Can you carry vitamins in your carry-on bag?
yes you can but like i said labeled with clear plastic bag

If it's original packaging. Meaning, you can't put into a ziploc bag or a tupperware container. If it's in the bottle you bought in you're fine.
