If I am downloading a bittorent file that is supposed to be finished within 3 days, is it ok to turn off my pc?

Sure

The great thing with bittorrent is that it will store all of the information as you download it into the folder it needs to be downloaded into. So as soon as the application shuts down, all it takes is a restart to continue.

Hell, im using bittorrent now, and this downloaded has been paused, stopped and resumed at least 100 times :D

Edit: I am assuming that you know that it wont download if you have the computer off, because it wont :)

Once you turn off your computer, it cannot download anymore. But, as soon as you turn it back on and start the Bittorrent download program, it will begin downloading again.

It will not download after the pc is turned off. But it will restart once the computer restarts.

Absolutely! The nxt time u open ur bittorrent client, it will pick up frm where it stopped earlier. I use azureus btw.
