I think people who do that cover the seat irregardless of who was in their last..even if it was Mr. Clean. Putting a cover on a seat is a habit of cleanliness. Or else he just think your botttom is dirty =) But I wouldn't take it personal.

You should not feel insulted in any way. I have always used toilet tissue to cover the seat of public facilities and have always taught my children and grandchildren to do the same. You may think you are a clean person, but once you have sat on a uncovered toilet seat, you are covered in a multitude of bacteria. There are many diseases one can get from the toilet seat. You should in fact thank your co-worker for educating you. Try it, you will be doing yourself a favour by "covering your butt". No pun is intended.

I don't know how clean you THINK you are, but you are fooling yourself if you think he should not have used a cover after you got out of the stall. In fact if he did what I would have done, he should have used 3 after using a clean wipe on the seat. Actually, doesn't he know that you need to wait at least 30 minutes and several flushes before he handles his own business?

You are a nut bar. Why would you ever want to put your bare bottem where some stranger had his, taking a fat poop a second earlier? That is not hygenic. Why do you think they make the toilet seat covers! Go ahead , confront him- but you will be the laughuing stock of your office. What are you gonna do? Yell at him for being clean? Having good conduct? Hurting your feelings cuz he didn't want his bare but touching where your bare butt just sat? HA HA HA HA You are being so foolish.

He doesn't know where you've been, or what accidents you might have had and wiped up on the seat. Plus, public restrooms are disgusting to begin with. I will only use them for sit-down purposes if it is an utter emergency. I live close to work, and have actually taken drives home to go at home.
The bacteria content of a public restroom is awful. I want nothing to do with it. And, most people are friggin' gross (like 35% of adults confess to not washing their hands after using the can).

I wouldn't. You don't know that he doesn't always do that. Some people do not sit on a public toilet w/o a guard. I know some people who absolutely refuse to use one. unless he is personally attacking you with words, i would not say a thing. So he doesn't want to share his cheeks with the rest of the office, If you think about it, it is not a big deal.
here is something offensive. apparently one of my co-workers thought i had bad breath. we talk about everything from our children to what we had for dinner last night. instead of just coming to me and saying something they went to the supervisor above our training manager and complained. I was offended and embarrassed. I did not ask to find out who that was, but i did talk to my manager about it. Something like that should be taken up between the person who thinks i need a mint and me, not our head supervisor.

It sounds like you have more issues than he does! Most people cover public toilet seats before sitting on them, they are germ factories. If he covered the toilet seat in your house then you have a right to question him but not a public bathroom. It doesn't sound like he is disgusted with you but disgusted with the fact that hundreds of people drop dueces in that toilet...

Some people use those covers every time they use the rest room. I don't think it is anything against you, it is just what makes him feel comfortable. You are not the only one who has ever used that toilet.

It's not personal. Some people use the covers all the time regardless to who was in there last. (I personally would use them on any toilet outside of my home!) If you feel a need to lower yourself to confront your coworker, then do it, but I think that's childish.
