O SERVANT, where dost thou seek Me? Lo! I am beside thee.
I am neither in temple nor in mosque: I am neither in Kaaba nor in Kailash:
Neither am I in rites and ceremonies, nor in Yoga and renunciation.
If thou art a true seeker, thou shalt at once see Me: thou shalt meet Me in a moment of time.
Kabîr says, “O Sadhu! God is the breath of all breath.”

(Kabir)

I Like it . It seems it says what my single fundamental belief is. I believe we all have an individual and personal relationship with God. Therefore church, ceremonies , rituals and a lot of other things may be good and nice for some people , but all it takes for God is for you to personally seek him.

Check out this really cool dude from about 400 years ago if you want some decent writing. Name of Shakespeare, I believe.

The poem is old-school chicken soup for the soul in my opinion. My favorite part is the 'true seeker' line. How long has that been touted? It's really had a revival of late.

"Oh, well, the suicide bombers aren't suscribing to the 'true' faith."

"Those people aren't 'true' christians, like we are."

...at least now we know the answer, he's beside them all the time. At a moment in time. Some time. ...that is if they are a true seeker who's not in a temple or mosque at the time, then they'll miss him (or her) --and wouldn't that suck;

"Dude, you missed God! He was JUST HERE. Right after you went in to the temple, he stopped by on a motor-scooter. Seriously. He's cool. Looked like Ed Asner. Nice sandals. He's the breath of all breath, you know. --Dude, you totally should have been here!"

Believer in Christ here....really not sure, but I do know God is everywhere and He will find you in the middle of the desert if He chooses to! Reaching out to our Lord comes from inside our hearts, you continue to be fed when you find a good place of worship.

I think you forgot to leave your sandals at the door. You might have missed the 12:00 prayer to the east also.

Total rambling nonsense. It even makes itself worse by acting like God exists.

It seems to have no meaning, so it is probably a work of fantasy on the part of the author.

I am a believer and your poem is very good. I liken it to God being where ever we need him and all times. You can talk to God at home as well as at a church.

I can only see you AFTER I've already made up my mind that you MUST be there?

Sounds like a self-reinforcing delusion, to me...
