I really want to know without doing bad things ( based on current society moral code ).

My simple reason is I don't want to stay same floor with the greatest murderer of all time, if He did exist.

Wow, do you need some qualifiers before you answer this question...

First of all, how do you know 'heaven' exists? How do you know which religions heaven exists if it does? If you were to choose, say, Christianities version of heaven, which doctrine are you planning to follow? To get only the briefest example to what I'm referring, take just a moment to link to the wikipedia site (see link below) and simply take the five minute it takes to simply scroll down the page. Some say that once you're saved, you're in, doesn't matter what you do. Some say you're born to go to heaven or condemned. Some say to baptize by complete submersion in water, other not. Some say at birth, some say after puberty.

...all that being said (and I could go on for days and days), you are presupposing the silly human idea of 'sin' is viable. All of humanity is bad because some dude took a bite out of an apple. Are you serious? We're not worthy of God because he made us flawed? He knew we would fail from the start? Huh? Do you realize that prior to Jesus' crucifixion, we were to sacrifice animals to this God in order to absolve our sins. Is that logical? Isn't it outrageous and ridiculous? Is not the Christian story? Okay, this all-knowing God knew from the outset that he'd have to have his son killed to save our souls because he made us flawed to begin with. Huh? Don't forget he's the loving and all-powerful god who both created us flawed and then murdered the entire population because he didn't like our flaws (remember that cute Noah and the flood story that's plastered on the nursery rooms of little babies, yeah, that's a story of the murder of EVERY HUMAN ON EARTH **notice to those who don't read questions thoroughly**). How is that love again? Oh, and if you happen to live beyond the reaches of western civilization, and don't come into contact with Christianity (and why would you, I've not come into contact with hardly any other religions besides the biggies, i.e. Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, etc --and I have the internet and a few world religion courses at my disposal), this loving God still sends you to hell for all eternity.

You might want to rethink the question. Possibly, you could rephrase is like, "How can I be certain I'm not going to the land of the fairies, or gumdrop falls, or sesame street, or WHEREVER"

P.S. I've enjoyed reading the other responses who didn't understand that you capitalized the "H" and thought they might enjoy my fuller explaination! Great question.

God is coming here. According to the original writings of your Bible, we lived right here on Earth before Satan rebelled, and we live here now, and we will also live here in the eternity, with this Earth rejuvinated back to its original state - anyway,
all that offends will already been destroyed so you certainly won't be staying "on the same floor (?)" as some murderer.
Thats silly. What do you mean by "if he did exist"? Your question is not really clear.

This is the deal: if you don't want to live past this flesh life, thats no problem at all: just tell God that at judgement and I am quite sure he will accomodate you fully.

Do I know your not going to heaven? No of course not, it would be foolish of me to say otherwise, but considering the circumstances would I say you are likely to not end up in heaven? Yes, because you see God's message and you openly reject it, which is totally your choice. That murderer broke a commandment(s), and so have you. Also Pascal's Wager is not a good excuse for religion, do not pretend to believe in God, so you think if he happened to exist He will let you into heaven.

So if you wish to continue on your path, do so, who knows you could end up in heaven, but I can not really say I believe that on your current path you will. (So I guess in your twisted view of the afterlife it would work out for you).

Also God is not the greatest murderer of all time (unless you blame him for every event despite the fact that humans have free will) even if all the biblical disasters caused many casualties the population in antiquity was not large enough to have numbers in the millions. Which makes Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, the Ottoman Turks, Mao, and of course pro-choicers far bigger murderers.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but should have ever lasting life" John 3:16

Christians are not perfect, Christians are forgiven. I try every day not to sin, but I fall short of my goal every day. So I go to God and ask His forgiveness. And He forgives me. All of the sin of the world was paid for by the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Anyone who wants to, can appropriate forgiveness for their sin, by believing on Jesus Christ and following his teachings. God made this plan simple, so that even little children could understand.

Join a Bible believing church and learn how to have a closer walk with Him. Read your Bible daily and go to Him in prayer and I guarantee you, He will direct your walk each day.

In American society, one of the most nefarious deeds you can commit is to molest or murder children. I can see why you wouldn't want to do it.

Maybe simply refusing to pay parking tickets and bus fare will work to grant you passage to hell/whatever. We really won't know for sure until Barbara Walters is granted an interview with The Lord.

Why would you want hell instead of heaven?
Rejecting Jesus will assure you a spot in hell.
When you come in the end he will say- who are you, I know you not.
I will pray for you.

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit will keep you out of Heaven. One way is to reject Jesus.

Simply reject Jesus and there you go, straight to Hell. But I am curious who you think the greatest murderer of all time is. please explain.
