She wanted someone else? You mean she would rather be engaged to someone else other than you?
Then end the engagement. Your marriage probably won't be the best if she's wishing she had ended up with this other guy. You shouldn't be engaged unless you two are absolutely sure you are right for each other, and only each other. Marriage is very special and not to be taken lightly. You don't want to have to get a divorce down the line because you feel you'll never be good enough for her because your not the other guy, do you?

Are you crazy? Asking someone to marry you takes a hell of a lot of courage! Your "Fiancee" is a total a waste of time. She obviously has no love or respect for you. You have opened your heart to her and all she can say is "I wanted to marry someone else!" ????? Proposing takes guts and to be knocked down like that is not on! Leave her right now, walk away, start afresh and find someone who will love you and who will actually mean it when they say "I love you." and "Yes, I will marry you!" You deserve a lot better!! Think of it this way, if she wanted to be with someone else, whats to stop her from having an affair with that someone else once you are married? Deal with any heartbreak now rather than later, when it will hit you harder. Take care and all the best. I hope you make the decision that will make you happiest.

"wanted"? That's past tense, isn't it? If the person is still available, then she's going to wander to him. Is this person attached? Is she tempted to go after them? In either case, she either needs to remember why she accepted your engagement in the first place (if something along the lines of "to make them jealous" comes out, bolt) or she needs to re-evaluate who she wants more now. Counselling might be something she should look at as well, if she needs it. Don't settle for being second best, and don't settle for ending up cuckold, unless you two want an "open marriage". Listen to your instincts. If she's not worth working with to see if you can find out what her issue is, then it may be better to cut her loose

disappointed with the engagement? must mean she said yes. Personally speaking - if she wanted someone else to ask her - I wouldn't go through with it - do not get married... this will only lead to a divorce. Go find someone that WANTS to be with you and you alone - and wants to marry ONLY you..
Don't go through with it - call it off.

Unless it's an arranged marriage, find someone else. It's not worth spending the rest of your life with someone who doesn't want to be with you.

Break up. If she wanted someone else, she's not going to be the kind of wife that you want or deserve.

If she is disappointed now she will only grow to be discussed with you later. This is not what marriage is about.

Cut her loose. Why be with someone who wants to be with someone else more than you? I wouldn't waste time marrying anyone if they weren't head-over-heels crazy about me.

Never settle.

Do not marry someone you already disappoint. You deserve someone who wants you!! She will be impossible to please as the years go by. Cut bait before it is too late!
