interestingly, no longer something is previous the OT God's skill to approve of! Floods, incest, murders. it truly is, in accordance to Moses. we don't be conscious of what number infants Adam and Eve had regardless of the undeniable fact that, for the Bible in basic terms mentions 3 sons: Abel, Cain, and Seth. Adam supposedly died whilst he became into 930 years previous, so we assume that Eve had a lengthy life additionally.

incest and they never mentioned daughters only sons them days as man is the dominant sex the girls were not worth mentioning they were only there to have children and cook unlike today were each sex are equal well near enough i think adam and eve had many children and there children would of mated with each other those days there was no laws against incest they came in later in life so what were saying is were all related through adam and eve meaning were all gods children

I reckon that when people first came up with this mythology (and it pre-dated Christianity by a long way), they didn't think of Adam and Eve as being the only humans who existed, but instead the first of *their* people - i.e. Adam and Eve's children took wives from other groups who existed in that part of the world.

In the beginning of time, there was no morale or genetic problems to be concerned about, and the world had to be filled, so having sex with brothers and sisters was not a problem. I wouldn't complain, you wouldn't be here otherwise!
However around the time of Moses and the book of Leviticus, God stated this was no longer needed and declared it sinful to have sexual relations with siblings.

I have been asking this same question for years. No one has given me a sensible answer yet.Perhaps incest came into it somewhere, but religious people call it "the original sin"

.If you check in Genesis 5:4 you will see they had daughters as well. If you think about it they had no bad genes to pass on, unlike today, as they had perfect bodies still. So they could at that time take their sisters as wives.

DRINK!

You know, they were SUPER HUMANS back then - lived to be 900 years old, not genetic problems to worry about, so incest was cool.
