We, Muslims believe, that Jesus was one of the mightiest messengers of God that he was the Christ, that he was born miraculously without any male intervention , that he gave life to the dead by God's permission and that he healed those born blind and the lepers by God's permission. In fact, no Muslim is a Muslim if he or she does not believe in Jesus!. He taught the same universal message of God which all the before him and after him taught. The Unity of God.

OK, muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet and NOT GOD! a central tenant in islam is that god is ONE and not THREE! So Jesus is in the same capacity as Mohumed and Moses, and not god himself.
There is also a passage in the Koran somewhere saying that false idolatry is a sin. So by making the prophet Jesus into god is blasphemy in the highest order, and therefore something to be denounced.

Yes. Jesus (pbuh) is known by Muslims to be a great prophet of God. He was born of a miraculous birth. He could talk while in the crib. He was given miraculous healing powers. He could make the blind see and cure the leper with the will of God. However, Muslims do not think that despite all his miraculous powers he was god or son of god because God is one and He has neither children, nor spouse, nor siblings.
Also, we do not believe that he died on the cross. He was taken up by God and will return again in this world.

As far as I'm aware, I believe muslims consider Jesus to be an important prophet however he could not ever have been a deity as he walked the earth in a "lowly" human form including the usual un-god-like bodily functions.

Jesus is recognised by all moslems, actually, it's a basic for Moslems, to believe in all the previous religions, and prophets, as Jesus, Moses, ...
As Islam, is the completion / consolidation of all of them.
The difference is in the crosssification incedent, both parties, believe it happened in a different way

Muslim scholars recognize Jesus as their half brother. They know their place in the Bible that they came from Ismael, the son of Hagar, sarahs maid. Sarah, thinking that she is already old and can not give a son to Abraham give Hagar so that Abraham can bear a son to be his heir. But God did not accept (read Genesis 16, to 21) God had already prophesied that Ismaels' family lineage will be the worlds trouble maker. Now, their terroristic acts are just a fulfillment of Gods' Word in the Bible.

Muslims believe that Jesus (pbuh) was the Messiah, he was born of a virgin birth, he healed the sick and all his miricales. We believe he will return.
Christians believe Jesus was God but Muslims believe he was a man. Christians use various quotes from the Bible to prove their point. This video tackles most of the quotes:

Most Muslims recognize Jesus as a prophet. They question his divinity, but otherwise his teachings are more or less in line with Muhammud's.
