Yes it is definately too young.
You need to at least be in high school before you start dating.

Yes, In fifth grade you should be friends and forget dating girls until you are at least 16 and then only group dates. You have so many people to meet and learn from. You do not want to limit your friendships at this age to anything serious.

Yes fifth grade is too young. Enjoy your life. Dating is for looking for a mate. Wait until you get to a point in your life when you are ready to settle down and get married. 25 or so.

At first, I would say yes. But I think that that is a good age to "practice" having a girlfriend. Go ahead and like someone, it's ok. Hang out with her, talk to her, carry her books, spend time together, be friends first. Good friends. Best friends. It's good practice for the future.

You guys technically won't be girlfriend/boyfriend because you won't even understand what that is.
I say yes, it's too young to have a girlfriend. But you're never too young to have a friend...you can never have too many of those.

She's 21 years old, but still in the 4th grade. We're a little slow down here in Caneyhead! she's agonna be the Valdictorian when she gets to the 6th grade.......

No I had my first in preschool he shared his crayons with me and drew me a sloppy heart with pasted macaroni all over it the ants out side the playground ants ended up crawling all over it but it was still cute.

I dont think 5th grade is to young to have a girlfriend. I has my first relationship when I was in 3rd grade.
