There is a smoking ban in Ohio. You can smoke anywhere except public places, meaning you can't smoke in restaurant nor bars. You can smoke at your house or in your car...any place that isn't in or on public property. So you could actually smoke when you are walking down the street.

It will be illegal to smoke inside a public three- (or more) sided structure. This includes many bus shelters.

Unfortunately for many of us, smokers can still spread the toxins on the street. In a crowded city, it's often not possible to get far enough away to avoid it.

in Australia its banned... basically there are rules and standards that must be put in place.... like for instance, can only smoke in smoking areas, never in bus shelters or train stops, or in closed areas, never in pubs or restaurants or indoors and have to be so far away from a building.... its crazy hey? i dont know how irritating it must be for smokers!
but its put in place for a reason.....
so walking down the street..... sort of, maybe

Any private property. Yours or any other persons that allow smoking. No public areas. In your vehicle or others that allow it is also acceptable. Only designated smoking areas in public areas will be allowed.

You will be able to smoke only where the "Liberals" do not legislation abolition of your smoking.

I have not smoked for MANY years and I think it is humorous that a group whose label ("Liberal") implies freedom has forced restriction of your freedoms in so many places, including public parks. In some cities, smokers are no longer permitted to smoke while walking down the street.

I find it ironic that many of the same Liberals who championed various kinds of smoking bans want to see the legalization of smoking marijuana. =:-o

Of course. And you can smoke in your own home, and in your car.
Remember these bans aren't designed to restrict YOU - they are designed to protect OTHERS.
