I'm reading 'Mere Christianity' by C.S.Lewis at the moment, it is truly inspiring. It gives a perspective that is theological but practical and easy to understand at the same time, plus the wit and intelligence of C.S. Lewis gives it a good read that most of the time I cannot put down.
At the moment I read it before coming to do bible study, and it has helped me. Also I have learnt quite a lot about my faith through reading 'Mere Christianity'.
I am planning to read 'The Screwtape Letters' after completing 'Mere Christianity'
Another recommendation would be 'Red Moon Rising' the story of 24/7 prayer, that book is truly amazing and gives the insight to how powerful prayer is!!

If You Want to Walk on Water, You've Got to Get Out of the Boat by John Ortberg
That was the last Christian book I read, and it was great! We used it in a singles group at church.

I highly recommend you read "A Voice in the Wind", "An Echo in the Darkness", and "As Sure as Dawn" [trilogy by Francine RIvers] These are books of faith, trials, love, war, and passion.
Recently i have read the above novels.

"Finding Sanctuary" by Abbot Christopher Jamison, from the UK TV series, The Monastery.
A fascinating book, with plenty of lessons for everyday life out in the world, full of wisdom and common sense.
Recommended!

I read constantly Oswald Chambers daily devotional "My Utmost for His Highest" which I think is the greatest book on spirituality next to the Bible.

I'm re-reading St. Thomas Aquinas' "Summa Theologica"; part 2 at the moment. And "The Little Flowers of St. Francis". The former satisfies my need for logical thought, the latter is for my heart's sake.

Sex God: Exploring the Endless Connections Between Sexuality And Spirituality By Rob Bell
Check out the reviews on Amazon.com. (I'm too lazy to write :) )
I like it because it is well-written, has a non-religious sounding style, makes sense to people who live in the real world lol.
And, btw, it is not new-agey wishi-woshy or weired in any way. I believe a fifteen year old could read it.
