It should be fine, this happens to me maybe once every two weeks. Usually this would be pink eye, but if you are positive it is not that it could be a couple different things. She could be allergic to something in her bed, (which seems stupid because you'd think you'd know if you're allergic to something is your bed), but if there are any new pillow or anything. It could also be that she slept on it odd and maybe hit herself in the face, or slept with her hand under her eye, in that case the knuckle-eye contact could've caused swelling. I'm sure there are a couple different possibilities. Usually this end after a couple (3-5) hours. Try taking a normal metal spoon, put it in the freezer for 15 minutes, and have her hold it directly on the eye. Its so cold tht it will probably hurt and she wnt like to do it, but it takes my swelling away. Hope this helped!

If they're not pink or red, full of pus or red edges, I would guess it's from an onset of allergies but, to be on the safe side, her eyes are her life, go see a doctor right away.

Sounds like allergies, could be a delayed reaction to something she ate. Talk to the doctor to be safe.
