The first answer is correct. It will take years to build the type of muscle a competitive bodybuilder possesses.
I started lifting weights when I was 13 years old and have been going at it off and on since then.
The main points are;1)Learn as much as you can by reading and asking questions.
2) Remember that diet plays a very important role in lifting.
3) It takes years to know your body as well as you should to get the right combination of exercise for you body type and how you want to look.
4) Genetics plays a big part in how you look. You can't change the way you skeleton is structured or the way your muscles attach to your skeletal system, but you can learn to work around your problem areas and this is where experience comes in.

It probably depends one "which" guys you are talking about but let's say in general it's going to take some years to gather the kind of muscle mass that I expect you are talking about. Lifting in the teenage years is good for you though so go for it. Don't expect amazing results yet but you'll be conditioned well and look and feel great.
Avoid any high school crap about steroids too. In some areas it's really easy to get them but don't go for it. That crap will make your life hell.
Good luck.

Muscles need testosterone, testosterone is produced most heavily during puberty, puberty is the best time for muscle development.

Bodybuilders (huge ones) take steroids, steroids come in bottles, these bottles are not a good idea, they are illegal!
(And bodybuilders are ugly!)

No! i like sturdy finding adult males or slender greater healthy adult males, not physique builders. this is advantageous to work out a guy who seems after himself. i like seeing adult males engaged on the wellbeing club or doing cardio excercize. i'm particular you look superb, toned yet not all "veiny".

Best not to do it until you are in your teens though. Not the best thing for a childs body!
