Nothing to do with the weather or the height of the Severn...it was closed because of some suspicious containers under the bridge...

The River Severn has swollen immensely.

I know this is further upstream, but look at the pictures on the BBC website. You can see how much it has grown!

Can't be sure about this but maybe because of floods? I'm sure Severn River was involved.
