it's called original sin. we dont suffer on this earth because of what God has done we suffer at our own hands. God made us suffer by taking away our immortality and making women give birth (somehow i think that men get away with it lightly!)
i think what you are talking about is things like natural disasters and the like. people ask things like why didnt He stop that from happening? why did so many die? the answer is that God probably did intervene and less people died than would have. a certain number of deaths occur every now and then, its the planets way of making sure we dont get too overpopulated, mother nature is a wonderful thing.
wars and terrorism are human made therefore have nothing to do with God. it is the original sin concept again - God gave us free will to decide between right and wrong, whatever we choose we choose alone. without free will what would be the point in religion? law? order? God wanted us to love him because we wanted to or wanted to believe not because we were brainwashed or made to believe. he knew some would turn the other way but this makes the others so much more important to Him.
we do not suffer in the ways in which you are suggesting that we do. anyway that adam and eve story is just that - a story. its a parable to try to explain what actually happened and why we have free will to choose between right and wrong. not a literal account!

I have a life. Are you taking responsibility for your previous trollish answers and making an effort to join us? Or is this more of the same?
How dare I suggest you not misrepresent yourself as a Christian while in another post talk about slapping Christians around? How decent of you to oppose my doing so.
If this is your new way of posting, you have nothing left to be concerned from me. This and the last one are reasonable posts. That's why I answered the last one, merely pointing out your past posts (if you don't like it, don't post that way).
From the Christian perspective, we chose to suffer. We were warned and we did it anyway. God specifically warned us, we didn't listen. Kind of like asking someone not to play in the freeway, and then we do it and get hit by a bus and blame the person who warned us. Silly.
If your parents lose all their money in the stock market, do the rest of of the business people owe you all the money back as their kids? Why does God owe you? He points our the door, you're free to earn your way through it, but you want it for free regardless of what you do?
That's just silly. No one owes you, anymore than you have the right to come to a free forum and tell people they shouldn't answer. I have a life. I have free speech. I respect those who are respectful. Join us.
Owe, look up the nature of "sin" in Christian belief. I do not think it means what you think it means. We, as a species choose our fate. Blaming God is just silly.
Do not take that statement as a request that you not ask such questions. It isn't a commentary on you. If you don't ask, you won't grow. I may or not have the answers for you (you decide, not me).
I just ask that you ask the questions, not just rant or misrepresent things and then expect us to remain silent about it rather than pointing it out.
Last two posts were good (except the childish "Please be decent with your stupid answers or don't answer at all. Get a life".
Happy to, as long as you're doing the same. Rudeness from me is aimed at the rude, not the decent. Happy you've joined us, if you have. That IS part of life.

You're trying to understand the Invisible Sky Critter using Logic & Reason - it cannot be done.
By faith alone will you ... blah blah whatever they say cos they know their delusion will not survive the scrutiny of Logic & Reason.

I don't know about you but i was created to worship and adore God, We are here to be with our Father.
When God made Adam, he was perfect and Earth was like heaven but when adam disobeyed God, then sin started. I was created to praise My God and to HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM.

You are mistaken. We are fallen creatures because of the sin of Adam, but we go to hell to pay for our own sin.

There is no logic. Religion is highly irrational in the arena of the fantasy. Next stop: fairy tale land.
