This is a very common problem with this vehicle. On the rear axle is an ABS control module that goes bad. Dealer item. Any decent tech can fix it

It's not working, gone bad, needs something.
Sometimes, electricity wires get different connection, and switch on occasion. For example, if you turn on your turn signal, your windshield wipers start. So, the light just saying to check it.....and, make sure you car is level..if the light comes on and your car is up/downhill, that might have a little something to do with it! Do it soon!

Each wheel has an ABS sensor, probably one has gone bad.
take it to dealer or reliable mechanic to check it out. Your brakes will still work but the ABS function may not.

Check all of your brake lights and if you have a trailer harness make sure it is not shorted.
Also check brake fluid level.
I have heard of these simple things making the ABS light come on, and I would hate to have you pay for diagnostics if it is something that simple.
Esp if you get charged for a repair that was not made or required.

Yes and it is most likely the rear abs sensor on the differential.

not a fuse if it was it wouldn't work at all . i think a speed sensor may be the problem that would account for the abs light.
