No one is allowed to blow themselves up for any cause, It's called suicide and is condemned by Islam and those people hold a place in hell. Unless they are KILLED in a battle, and are in the middle of a war and use it as a tactic to kill the oponent, which in case the person would be considered as a Martyr, that's a different story. But if no one is in a war and people go around killing themselves randomly...then not only will they be punished for killing themselves, but for killing others too.

The Prophet said, "Whoever purposely throws himself from a mountain and kills himself, will be in the (Hell) Fire falling down into it and abiding therein perpetually forever; and whoever drinks poison and kills himself with it, he will be carrying his poison in his hand and drinking it in the (Hell) Fire wherein he will abide eternally forever; and whoever kills himself with an iron weapon, will be carrying that weapon in his hand and stabbing his abdomen with it in the (Hell) Fire wherein he will abide eternally forever."

"What's the difference between suicide, which the Koran condemns, and martyrdom?" I asked. "Suicide," he replied, "is done out of despair. But remember: most of our martyrs today were very successful in their earthly lives." In short, there was a future to live for--and they detonated it anyway.

Blowing ourselves is suicide, and suicide is one of greatest sin in Islam. The consequence for the doers is simply Hell-fire (sorry, no 72 virgins).

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 23, Number 446:
Narrated Abu Huraira-:

The Prophet said, "He who commits suicide by throttling shall keep on throttling himself in the Hell Fire (forever) and he who commits suicide by stabbing himself shall keep on stabbing himself in the Hell-Fire."
