I know that medium overall is the best for you. But from the choice of those two what is the best? I've heard wll done has some forms of cancer, and rare I've heard a million things about. Just want to see what really is the best for you.

I've always eaten mine medium well. Just seeing trickling blood gives me creepy jeebys.

I don't know about the cancer. But there isn't a pat answer to the question. It all depends on the cut of the beef. Many cuts of beef have to be cooked somewhat rare as they are so tough. Cooking indoors on electric heat I don't see how you can make the meat harmful by overcooking. Burning it would taste bad so I don't know what idiot would want to do that.

Makes no difference if the well done steak is not charred-it's the charring that forms carcinogenic compounds.

In terms of nutrition it doesn't matter. Cooked or uncooked your steak is not going to give you cancer.

I preferred 80 % cooked. it taste good
