Since all of us are given the power of choice, who's to tell we're not going to sin again when we get to heaven? After all Lucifier and his followers lived in Heaven and were cast out because they betrayed God. Therefore once we enter heaven, we are all capable of sinning because we still have the power of choice! So what's the point?

Ultimately it comes to one thing.

Do you like suffering? There is no pain greater than experiencing God directly then losing it. The fall from whole flesh to burning alive does not compare. God does not inflict it, and it is a matter of relative pain, but a fall from God's presence (or more accurately, to hide yourself from God's presence, since he doesn't move) to normal life is far greater than a simple fall to physical pain.

There is not a day that would go by without yearning for God, without constant pain knowing what you have lost, by choice and knowing you could choose it again and won't, due to your own chosen limitations.

You might have joys: a wife, a baby daughter, a job you love, friends & neighbors you respect, a country to be a patriot of.

They're toys by comparison. Don't give up on it too quickly, but don't seek it if you don't really want it and will simply, foolishly, give it up.

I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

All my love.
