ok my friends buy rum and coke because its cheap, and easy to get someone drunk. I had a really bad experience with rum and coke and ever since then i couldn't drink it. I feel like throwing up when i just get a smell of it. But i love getting drunk, and when your with a group of friends and cant drink what they are drinking then they start to make fun of me. SOOOOOO what i need is some help!!
what can i use for a chaser or just to get rid of the rum flavor?? anything would be helpful!!!

They are making fun of me to get me to drink it so they can piss me off. They are great people and i dont need any other friends. They know i don't like rum and thats why they get it. They are trying to get me back into drink it again because i was like the king of rum! but since my incident with it for some reason i just cant drink it. I think im going to try the energy drink for a chaser

Most likely they're making the rum & coke with Bacardi's which in my view is worst tasting rum out there. Try a rum and coke (or better yet rum with a coke chaser) with a better class of rum such as Appleton, Cruzan or Mount Gay.
Second idea is to move on up to Scotch Whisky and laughing at your friends for being wimpy rum drinkers!

More Coke? I drink rum and coke too but I make sure that the quantity of the rum is lesser than that of the Coke. Makes me forget that I am drinking alcohol. And pacing will be great too.

Switch to Jack and coke. Or separate them, do a shot of Jack Daniels, and chase it with a swig of coke. No one drinking rum and coke has any right to make fun of someone doing shots of Jack.

You'll just have to bring something else like lemonade or orange juice to mix it with. Or if you still can't stand the rum you'll have to get your own booze if your friends won't help. You could accuse them of being boring to see if they change, or introduce them to something new to see if they prefer that. Oh yeah and you should really find better friends if they make fun of what you don't like to drink!!

Pineapple juice works very well to mask the flavor. so does Orange juice. Personally I used to one can of frozen concentrate OJ and replace one anda half of the 3 cans of water with rum. Seemed to work very well.

how about this: don't get a rum and coke. ask for vodka with 7-up, or whiskey and coke. if you want to keep with the whole well drink theme.

Gawd, just avoid the rum altogether - vile vile stuff!!!
Just point out to them that we don't all like the same things - find a food example you eat that they hate for instance!!
