It's my birthday tomorrow. I got a friend of mine really drunk on his birthday two weeks ago (a bit childish I know) and now he is plotting revenge tomorrow night and I will be the spectacle! Does anyone know what I should eat before the night begins and any tricks (foods, teas whatever!) that will slow down the absorption of alcohol into my bloodstream? I am a small guy and cannot drink a lot! Please don't reply with 'why not don't drink at all?' because it is not an option unfortunately!

Stay away from milk... not good when it comes up.... a good one to try is bread. maybe pop some crackers in your pocket and munch on them when no one is looking. eating while drinking will help alot also. I would also eat lots of protein. A nice hardy steak with a baked potatoe and bread would be an ideal dinner. just remember, once your friend is drunk, he won't notice how much you drink. invite some girls over and try to be macho and see who can drink 5 shots that fastest... of course let him win. after that he should be feeling pretty good... he might even forget about getting you shitfaced.

take some food, the longer the alcohol is digested, the slower and milder the effect.
take in a lot of fluid, preferrably those with salt, helps absorb water better and when body has more water in the system it helps better to fight the intoxication.
take small sips, and please do not mix the wine. i've seen quite some people drunk by mixing this and that, totally nonsense stuff together.

Ok, here is what you do...I am not going to say don't drink but please drink in moderation. Have them add a lot of ice to your drinks (tip #1); eat a very large meal before you start drinking (tip #2). After you been drinking, have some else drive you or get a taxi, and take aspirin or Alka-Seltzer
BEFORE you go to bed to help cut down on a hang over. Also please drink lots of water. Good luck.

haha, well, the best thing for me is between every drink, drink some water. It doesn't have to be a lot really- just enough. Either that, or eat some greasy foods like pizza or something.

Just make sure that you eat thru the day, like 3 meals, big breakfast, lunch and a big dinner, the more food that's there will make it harder to process the alcohol as such.

the other one my sisters ex tried was to drink a pink of milk to line his stomach.

other than that drink water sometimes while your out to keep your body hydrated

Lots of water, a really heavy meal (if you can get your folks to take you out for steak...) then after 3-4 drinks, make yourself (finger down throat) throw up....you should be able to "drink" your friend under the table!

Drinking lots of caffeine, water, and eating lots of carbohydrate based foods such as breads. Bread will absorb alcohol and lower the amount that goes into your blood stream (what makes you drunk. :-p) Have a great birthday.. and don't drive!! :p

just eat a good meal beforehand, plenty of carbs that should do the trick, also try (if you can) having A soft drink in between the alcholic ones, and drink slowly!
