Getting from Cardiff to Stansted?

I need to get from Cardiff to Stansted airport in the early hours of tomorrow morning, i have booked a train from Cardiff to london paddington (which will arrive in london at about midnight tonight). How do i get from paddington to stansted cheaply at this time?

Stanstead Express runs from Liverpool Street. Not sure how far Liverpool Street is from Paddington though - sorry:(
