Wow.. let me try this... (instead of answering this realistically)
It is very important in multiple attacker situations to render each one incapcitated in as short of a time as possible (no more than 10 to 15 seconds per guy)
Well I would gouge out the first dude's eyes, and as he wallowed in pain and his buddies were shocked I would hit the second guy in the throat (possibly killing him)
The next guy I would grab his collarbone and dislocate it with a downward thrust. While he screamed and pain and threw a punch at me, I would do a downward strike on his elbow after trapping it. Then to finish him off I would strike his xiphoid process dislodging it and forcing it into his heart.
Kick another in the knee dropping him and shattering his knee.
The next guy, I would fingerjab his eye, then I would chop to the throat, then ridgehand his carotid artery (knocking him out)
The last guy I would kick in the balls, grab him by his eyes and hit him in the temple (this will knock him out or perhaps kill him).
That is my limit I can really only take on about 6 guys at a time. Eyes, throat, knees and groin. Game over for them, I walk away as they lay on the ground in pain....
ROFLMAO!!!!
It is fun to make believe.....

it depends on the number. i dont believe any fighter experience or not with the exception of bruce lee and chuck norris can take more than 3 or 4 guys out. any more would be overwhelming.
most importantly you should avoid a fight even with one person for fear of them carrying a concealed weapon. if a fight with 3 or 4 people is unavoidable its important to make sure they have no weapons. aim for areas such as the groin, the gap between the ribs and the chest, the neck, the arm pit and joints such as elbows. if possible kick the closest guy in the nuts then run. if not keep aiming for the previously mentioned areas while keeping your head in constant motion (bobbing and weaving) and spinning to maintain a view of as many as possible.

The best technique is whichever one that I need to use for that given moment that prevent me from becoming a victim. You use the technique based upon how and when you are attacked. There is not cookie cutter that says just use this one technique it is all you will ever need. You should never plan to use certain techniques. The situation dictates which technique you use for that given moment.

If you've got a hard punch (or kick) go for the jaw, that can knock them out. Or the floating ribs, easiest place to break them which'll leave them on the floor in most cases. Or the kidney, that can take them down.
A downward kick to the knee could seriously injure them to keep then down.
But the easiest place could be the balls, but they may not go down because of the adreneline.

Gun.
Simple as that. Regardless of your years of training, I'm afraid any number of "bad guys" over, say, 4, is guaranteed to beat your *** fairly handily. Unlike Kung fu films, 4 guys aren't going to wait patiently while one of their buddies fights you one-on-one. They won't hold you by the arms and let you kick the one guy in front of you when he rears back for a punch. They won't even stand around and fight you unarmed.
They will fight dirty, in groups, with the intention of getting you on the ground and limiting your ability to move out of the way of their clubbing hands. And if that doesn't make them happy enough, they'll use tire irons, sand, rocks, whatever is lying around to beat, blind and maim you. So, there's only one feasible option: gun. Fully loaded. Hollowtips. .380 or .40 calibre, less kick, higher stopping power than 9 mil, two rounds in each guy. Carry two extra clips.
Or just don't get attacked by "some bad guys".

Kicks and knees to the groin are very good but sometimes hard to hit because of your opponents natural reflexive reaction to turn slightly away to protect it. So other targets and techniques that may present themselves are finger strikes or finger jabs directly into the eyes themselves; strikes to sides of the neck and front of the throat, kicks to the knees-especially on the front and sides of the knee, elbows to the cheek bones, under the chin, front or bridge of the nose and also into the solar plexus, ear claps, head butts to the top and bridge of the nose and cheek bones and stomps to the ankle, bridge of the foot, and top of the toes.

I just went to a seance last night and asked Bruce Lee this question thru a spirit medium and he said the finger jab to the eyes is the most effective technique for you.

I tend to have fun with these types of situations. You can read the "Bubishi" to get many weak points, but sometimes it's better to just pop em a quick one in the nose, so you can focus on the other enemies.
