When i click the burn icon, it reads all of my cds as data discs.
I have however burned cds previously using the same programs, but one day it just wouldnt work

WMP for vista came installed when i bought the pc......and there isnt a way the reinstall it...

Go into "Burn Settings" and make sure music CD is selected instead of data disk

dump the player, shut down, reboot then reload the player.
You can run wizzards, but dump and reload is quicker.
