Think about this. After you die you suddenly wake up in a dark room and frantically look around you. Suddenly, a man in a Spiderman costume comes up to you and tells you this:

"There is no God, there is no heaven or hell, your one life on Earth was all you got. You have exactly 30 seconds from the time I stop talking to reflect on your life before you cease to exist whatsoever and never return. Begin.....

My thoughts are those who are Atheists would have no regrets, where as Theists, particullarly those who were very active in religion (prayed daily, went to church/mosque weekly, didn't do things cause they were sinfull ie drinking, sex.. would think "Oh, Sh*t!!! I wasted my life!! Why, Spiderman, why?!?!?"

Just my opinion

What I would be thinking is... If there is no God, heaven or hell, then where the f*ck am ? And who is this Spider-man guy talking to me? Some kind of cosmic entity?

Even in death I refuse to lose my rationale.

Of course if you look at it the other way: What if an atheist dies and ends up at the pearly gates. A religious person would be ecstatic to be welcomed into Heaven where an atheist would regret that he is now condemned to Hell for his lack of faith. Moral of the story: Better safe than sorry. Oh and just so you know...I'm agnostic so I'm simply posing a rebuttal.

Now this comment isBible based.
Not everyone gets to heaven
If you happen to die before Armageddon, you will be resurrected. Not to heaven, because even Jesus was not. He was resurrected back to the earth for another forty days, in a fresh body carrying only the marks on his hands and feet, and the hole in his side. this identified him as to Mary Magdalene, he did not LOOK like Jesus. there were no other torture marks on him..Like the flogging marks and wounds.
Resurrected means ' a standing up". This would not apply to a spiritual situation.
The resurrection? (Revelation 20:12-13) And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened. But another scroll was opened; it is the scroll of life. And the dead were judged out of those things written in the scrolls according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Ha′des gave up those dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds.

They are not being judged for whatever sins they may have committed when they were alive. They were paid for with their death.
(Romans 6:23) For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.

When you die, your sins are paid for. Wages being fully paid.

So those resurrected are being judged on how they react to the knowledge that they have just been resurrected into God's new system . Its comply or die.
It also implies that everyone would have had the chance to learn about God's new system when they were alive.
Muslims KNOW about Christianity but choose to ignore it. Very few investigate it and fewer still CHANGE to it. Probably for fear of their lives and the Quran scriptures which threaten death to converts.
Spiderman would have been forgotten.

As a poster said "well you do realise that ain't going to happen" - of course it isn't! Spiderman? It will be Wonder Woman!

Don't knock my response, Wonder Woman is just as real as god.
