People who are atheists LOVE to misrepresent the facts. God lets us know for certain which religion is true. It is said in the Bible God will touch you and let you know which religion is true. The spirit of God is like a fire and it burns inside each and every one of us.

If only people would put away their pride and listen to the truth. Why don't they do that? But, you know what? I'm not here for that. I'm here to spread the word that God loves each and every one of us and that we should stop being so vain and accept the sacrifice of Jesus.

If we don't accept Jesus, what right have we to get into Heaven? What if I came up to you and said, "I've done NOTHING wrong but I want to break into your house."

You wouldn't like that, right?

Of course not. Same thing with Hell. Unless you are a Christian you cannot get in.

Agree?

Definition of hell: common grave of dead mankind (everyone goes there when they die!) here are some of Scriptures about the condition of the dead...

Eccl. 9:5, 10: “The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all . . . All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol,* the place to which you are going.” (If they are conscious of nothing, they obviously feel no pain.) (*“Sheol,” AS, RS, NE, JB; “the grave,” KJ, Kx; “hell,” Dy; “the world of the dead,” TEV.)

Ps. 146:4: “His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts* do perish.” (*“Thoughts,” KJ, 145:4 in Dy; “schemes,” JB; “plans,” RS, TEV.)

(Ecclesiastes 3:19-20) “. . .For there is an eventuality as respects the sons of mankind and an eventuality as respects the beast, and they have the same eventuality. As the one dies, so the other dies; and they all have but one spirit, so that there is no superiority of the man over the beast, for everything is vanity. 20 All are going to one place. They have all come to be from the dust, and they are all returning to the dust.”

So it seems that when we die, we are just that dead! There is not fiery place of eternal torture and torment called hell, it is just basically the grave. As for your last comment, I don't think you meant it the way you wrote it, but even as far as all Christians going to heaven, that is not a true Bible teaching either, just man's mis-interpretation and mis-understanding...
people listening to men's doctrines, and not fully investigaing the Bible for themselves. God created the earth for humans, and he created humans for the earth. HIS purpose has not changed, and the few who go to heaven have a very big role to play in the future of mankind as well. They are to rule as kings and priests and take part in judging mankind with Jesus. Make sure for yourself that you learn what the truth is, then you can help spread the message that God wants you to...yes, Jesus dying for our sins is very important, we would have NO hope without his ransom sacrifice, but there is more to what the Bible teaches, and it is good to learn everything that is taught, and not just part of it.

(Matthew 24:14) “. . .And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come. . .”

(John 17:3) “. . .This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.”

lolololololol look at your last paragraph. hahahahahahahaha i laughed so hard dood. "Same thing with Hell. Unless you are a Christian you cannot get in." lol....

But seriously, dont jusge all atheists "People who are atheists LOVE to misrepresent the facts." That just isnt cool.

I am an agnostic and wanted to say I disagree when you said " It is said in the Bible God will touch you and let you know which religion is true." You can never know, no one knows. That is why religions are commonly called 'faiths'. You should give me the passage from which you read that though, I would appreciate it.

Anyways, I am not trying to put you down. I jsut think your last line is funny. Maybe you could edit it. You would laugh if you were in my position probally.

I also wanted to add that you should understand that there is no way of knowing that God exists, and I would love for you to reply. I dont know much about yahoo answers, but please contact me through email skuitar21@yahoo.com

Of course I DO NOT AGREE. That's the most absurd thing I've heard. Your whole argument is based on the fact that you think everything in the bible is true. Also you can't even prove that the jesus from the bible even existed. None of us really care about the threat of being sent somewhere in Michigan or Norway when we die anyways(go to yahoo maps and maybe you'll get the joke)

I do not like to misrepresent facts. I interpret and present them as they are... Christians on the other hand...

Anyway, you mentioned that one cannot get into hell if they are atheist (assuming that there is an afterlife). So if they are banned from heaven and can't enter hell, where do atheists go after they die (again, assuming there is an afterlife).

btw, Your analogy about breaking into someone else's 'house' doesn't really apply to most atheists, because the 'house' in your analogy is a reference to heaven, and atheists do NOT believe in heaven.

Are you really saying that you only christians can get damned to hell??? That is a little strange. Oh yeah, and Hell isn't really a place you go after death. If you are "Hell bound" then you actually just seize to exsist not actually suffer eternity in a firey pit. And not everyone gets to go to Heaven either. The people that don't seize to exsist will go on living on Earth for eternity after the judgement day.

Heaven and Hell in a Christian, God-chooses-who-goes-where sense are not part of any atheists beliefs simply because they don't believe in gods.

You do realise that if you'd been born to a Hindu family you would believe that THAT is the truth etc don't you?

Wow...are you enjoying your view from that high horse? For being so spiritual you are certainly arrogant. What kind of God would punish people for using the freewill He gave us? He gave us the choice to decide what we believe. I must have a higher opinion of Him than you. I feel certain He is merciful enough to forgive ignorance. Besides...not that I'm Jewish, but you figure if there was only one "right" religion it would be Judaism because Jesus was a Jew. Anyway, I know you're wrong and your analogy is unbelievably flawed. "I've done nothing wrong but I want to break into your house."? It would be more like, "I was ignorant. Please forgive me and welcome me into your 'house.'" Der...

Unfortunately, our goodness is not good enough, we have to believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. Psalm; 14:The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. 2) The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. 3) They are all gone aside, they are all together become corrupt: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.....You have to be saved. Hebrews 11:6; But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. The choices we make is what determines our destiny. God is not unfair, we can be unfair to ourselves, by not making good choices.

Hell is not a permanent place of torment and torture.
It is simply man's grave.
It will disappear along with death
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Ha′des were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire.

Hades=Hell

The ' lake of fire' is destruction.

Hell and the lake of fire are NOT the same, because one is to go into the other.

no, I don't agree with you at all.
you are wrong, and you are ridiculous for believing in such nonsense. NO ONE deserves an eternity in hell. NO ONE. and you're a bad person if you believe anyone does. sure, there are guys and women in this world who've done horrible, wrongful things, and they need to realize they were wrong for those things they did and have things corrected so that things are good between them and others, but for anyone to go to hell longer than the period of time they were alive, is extremely absurd. god sending anyone to hell, especially for eternity, would be unfair and wrong, and the idea that you don't realize that, is rather disturbing.
there are individuals who deserve to have it better than others, but NO ONE deserves an eternity in hell.
