Best way to prove this is to start earning your income. Either do chores for your parents for allowance or go and get a job. That would prove that you are committed to learning the value of the dollar and once you are buying your own things I promise you won't lose them so much.

If you really want to prove yourself you need to get a job and earn your own money and buy your own things. I tell you what if you had to buy those things that you lose, I guarantee you would not lose them anymore.
Also it sounds to me like your father is to blame for the way you are, you do sound spoiled but it's your fathers fault. He is the one who is buying you new things when you lose them. Children learn from their parents and that is the way he has taught you to live.

Stop loosing stuff. Make an extra effort to keep track of your things. Also, start earning money and buying some of your own things. You likely have very little concept of money, so you should learn.
Good luck.

your parents are trippen' my parents buy me nothing but when I loose something I bought (happens all the time) they'll be the one who buys me the second one no complaint and I wouldn't call it spoiled I'd call it Lucky spoiled means that your parents buy you anything you want and if you want a specific item they'll go around the whole state to find it!

I can see both sides to this one. From your parents point of view, they buy you something, you lose it and all they can see is that you placed no value on the item and they have to pay the money out again.
So what you have to do is prove them wrong. You need to take responsibility for the items and not lose them.

just show them that you really appreciate the things they do for you and for the things they buy you.. try picking up a few chores around the house.. or maybe buying them something for a change.or the best thing, dont ask for anything for awhile..

I think they should stop buying you things and invest in some more schooling.
have-not half
concept-not consept
Start working harder at school, and start helping out more at home. That will show them that you appreciate them. Also, don't give them attitude, and give them more hugs

Depends......how old are you?? If your super young then you are still learning. If your 16 or older BE MORE RESPONSIBLE........my daughter loses crap all the time (13) ........she doesn'tt get another one unless she buys it herself. She does chores and gets $ for grades (A's only). The truth is if ya don't learn hoe to take care of things and learn financial awareness adulthood's gonna suck..........good luck!!............what position do you play VB??

Ask them to teach you about money.
When you lose something- you go with out it, you need to teach yourself that. Stop asking for money, go mow the lawn then ask for money, take out the trash, and do the dishes then ask for cash. And don't expect $20 for the lawn, expect $5, clean dishes $2.
Teach yourself with their help
