A sacrifice is not symbolic if it means nothing!! He can bring himself back from death therefore it is a mere party trick.

What is easier , to come back from the dead or to know our rebellous actions called sin are acquitted? Ask an inmate on death row, if they hope or wish for a reprieve of acquittal.
To live for sin or die to sin that is the question. If God is capable of loving mankind enough to die for, maybe He has something to say that will enhance and enlighten us as beings.Maybe God has a better idea. That is all a belief is anyway, is the acceptance of an idea as being reality.

The Father raised the Son as an acceptance of his PERFECT sacrifice. Only He could lay down His life on His own accord.............and to think for SINNERS who blasphemed, beat, cursed, etc...His holy name.

If a human did this......ok let's say it covered 1 person's sins...............what about the rest of humanity.

The sinless for the sinful.......it was VERY hard on Him. To bear the sins of the world?, and have His father turn His back on Him? This is a VERY VERY big deal, but very difficult to grasp. Our finite minds can not begin to comprehend such a work! This is why Christians are so thankful and love Him and worship Him and etc, etc.

They say Jesus died for our sins...

1) I didn't ask him to, so quit blaming me and telling me he died for me. Whatever. I wasn't even there. Can't say it's my fault.

2) He was KILLED by the romans for preaching things that went against the roman government. He didn't willingly say HEY! HERE I AM! COME CRUCIFY ME! He was captured, and killed. There IS a difference.

3) If you guys can sit there and believe that a man died and came back to life, what, 3 days later? Is that it? well, I can easilly understand why the entire idea of religion isn't strange to you. You're gullible and will believe anything because it's written down.

Hell, I'm going to write a book and right on page one I am going to say: On day 1, ISWD1 turned the sky neon red. On day two, he said hey, that red is funky, I think I'll make some land and color it bright orange.

2000 years from now, I might have my own religious followers, you never know, hey, it's written down in a book, it MUST have happened.

Good god (No pun intended) wake up and smell reality for a change. Stop placing your entire belief system in a book and some guy wearing a dress who likes to fondle your children when you're not looking, and then goes to vegas to spend your sunday offerings that the church so DESPERATELY needs because you know, when someone asks from help from the church to pay their electric bill in times of trouble, they only have to go before a friggen committee and embaress the hell out of themselves for 120.00.

Your church is beyond pathetic, contrite, stuck up, holier than thou, I am good you are evil, repent sinner BS.

The concept of dieing for some ones sin is a shame full attack on one of the attributes to God Almighty, i.e. God is Just.

If some ones sins can be washed out from others then God is not just ( May God Almighty forgive me ).
That means god punish some other person instead of some one else crimes.

Those who says Jesus said, The way to Heavens goes through me" means just take name of Jesus and do what ever you want you will go to heavens should understand true meanings and depth of that statement.

It is true, way to heavens go through Holy Prophets and Messengers, How?
By following there way of life,
By following there foot steps, means following their traditions,
By accepting their teachings, without introducing our own logics.

I worship that 'someone' because He was the Son of God. And as found in the likeness of human form, he humbled himself even to die on the cross.

Now, I would tell you: If you die for my sins, I will build a shrine for you. That I promise.

To die for another is still a sacrifice. NO matter how you stretch the definition. His ressurection was as your representative in Heaven. You forget that he makes intercession for you always.

The better question is WHY DONT YOU WORSHIP SOMEONE WHO DIED FOR YOUR SINS?l

Because he never had to be it that position in the first place. Jesus existed since the beginning of time. He chose to leave heaven and come to earth for 30 years and die for us.

Jesus is the ultimate sacrifice. I worship him because he loved me enough to die for my sins. There is nothing than can compare to that.

The right thing was for God to have a son and have that son take his place. God should have died on that cross. Jesus inspired Christianity. God has inspired so many religions who could care less about Jesus Christ. Anyone who says that God is perfect is wearing a blindfold.
