in short, it means that when the name ''god'' is spoken, there is no reverence or sense of awe derived from its being said. for instance, if i said: god d@mn really loud and got no reaction, in this case, god would be dead.

A false statement! God is alive and well in all of those who believe and trust on HIs name! He lives in our hearts and souls and can be our very best friend in the world when there is no one else to turn to! He died on the cross to save us from our sins and in three days arose from the grave and ascended to Heaven. His sacrifice made it possible for us to have hope in an eternal life. God is not dead!!!
